This Privacy Policy explains how LoadBench (by DeadNuts, LLC) handles your information. Our goal is simple: give you control and keep your data private.

Scope

This policy applies to your use of the LoadBench app and related services provided by DeadNuts, LLC. Where the app stores data only on your device, that data never leaves your device unless you choose to sync or otherwise send it to our servers.

What We Collect

Using the app without an account

If you have not created an account, your data lives only on your device. We do not receive or store it on our servers. Uninstalling the app (or clearing the app's local storage) removes it from your device.

Using the app with an account

If you create an account or enable sync, some data is stored on our servers so we can provide account features and syncing across devices. Premium sync uses a zero-knowledge design. We cannot read the contents of your encrypted data.

Payments and subscriptions

When you subscribe or manage payments, billing is handled by payment processors such as Stripe, Google Play, and Apple App Store. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. For purchases made through app stores, Apple or Google processes the transaction and we receive subscription status and related metadata - not your full payment details.

If you contact us for support, we receive the information you provide in that message so we can help resolve your issue.

Optional location-based weather

If you turn on the weather lookup feature, we briefly use your device-provided latitude and longitude to request current conditions. Those coordinates are sent to our weather partner solely for that lookup. We do not tie this data to your identity, do not store it on our servers, and do not share any identifying information alongside the coordinates.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the app and services.
  • Operate account features, sync, and subscriptions.
  • Provide customer support and communicate about the service.
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats.

Data Storage and Security

LoadBench is designed with privacy in mind. Local-only usage keeps your data on your device. When you opt into cloud sync, your data is encrypted and stored on our servers; premium sync uses zero-knowledge encryption so we do not have access to the plaintext contents. Location coordinates used for weather lookups are transient and never written to our servers.

Your Choices

  • No account: keep everything on your device. To remove it, uninstall the app.
  • Account holders: you can delete your account and all associated data at any time. See Delete My Data for step-by-step instructions.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the service (for example, payment processing with Stripe, Google Play, and Apple App Store), subject to appropriate safeguards. We also share temporary latitude/longitude coordinates with our weather data provider when you request a weather lookup so they can answer the query; no other identifying information accompanies that request. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Data Retention

We only store data for paying subscribers. If your subscription lapses, we may delete your synced data from our servers at our discretion. If you tap "Delete Account" in the app, we delete all of your data from our servers immediately and cancel any active subscriptions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://loadbench.com//privacy-policy and update the effective date.
